Westmore Oaks K-8 School
Our school is located at 1100 Clarendon Street in West Sacramento, California. The school itself used to be the old River City High School. We are lucky to have such a large facility. We have a large gym, which is air conditioned and can be used by students for recess when the weather is bad. We also have a football field and a track. We have tennis courts, and many baseball and soccer fields to use, too. The school itself has many classrooms and it can easily house over 1,000 students. Many of our classrooms have been renovated like the science labs and the the kindergarten classrooms. We also have a large work-out room with a climbing wall and other weight equipment for students to use. We have over 40 certificated teachers and over 25 classified employees.
Our School Mission is:
"At Westmore Oaks K-8, we are a diverse and compassionate community of families, students and staff, working collaboratively and cooperatively to become critical thinkers. Our mission is to engage all students in rigorous academic instruction in preparation for their continuing education and life in the twenty-first century. We will provide a safe and supportive environment in order to encourage and motivate all students to reach their full potential. All students will take responsibility for their own learning."
"QUEST FOR SUCCESS!"
Every student can succeed and the Westmore Oaks K-8 Staff is committed to seeing that happen.
I am proud to be the principal of such a fine school and enjoy working with all of the staff and students to make our school the best it can be!

Health Alert Forms!
This year there is a Health Alert form in your Back to School packets. It is VERY IMPORTANT that parents inform the school of any health issues their children have so we can look out for their safety. We need to know in case of allergies or any other life threatening issues. The Westmore Staff cares very much about your children and we want to be proactive about their safety. Thanks, Mrs. Smith
