PROCESS FOR VOLUNTEERING

We Love Our Volunteers with line of parentsWould you like to volunteer, but don't know how to become "cleared" for volunteer service? Follow the process below and get "cleared" to volunteer for the duration of your student's enrollment in WUSD:
  1. Pick up a Volunteer Packet from the school office and obtain a signature from the Principal or Vice Principal to start the process.
  2. Complete the Volunteer Packet and submit it to the District Office.
  3. Following guidelines provided by the District Office, complete a TB test and LiveScan fingerprinting (paid for by WUSD).
  4. Wait for our school secretaries to call you indicating that your paperwork has cleared.
  5. Pick up your Volunteer ID badge and start volunteering!
All volunteers must wear their Volunteer ID at all times when on campus or volunteering at campus events.

Are you artistic? Have a green thumb? Have muscles you're willing to put to work? If so, consider joining the School Beautification Committee. We're looking for volunteers to help brainstorm and conduct projects on our campus to make it a more appealing and inviting place to learn. SCHOOL BUS CHAPERONES

SCHOOL BUS CHAPERONES

We're looking for parents and family volunteers to ride our school buses in the mornings and afternoons. Your presence on the bus will help us enhance the safety and supervision of our young riders throughout the year, support our valued bus drivers, and encourage our students to model the Dragon Code of Honor to and from our campus.

HALL MONITORS

Are you observant, comfortable with kids, and do you enjoy being outdoors? Our campus is huge and we could use your help monitoring the hallways and quad to remind students to be safe and respectful.
